Trace PCB analysis in insulating oil

We offer high-precision and cost-effective PCB quantification methods! Leave it to us, a company specializing in insulation oil analysis and diagnostics.

Businesses that possess heavy electrical equipment classified as PCB waste must either dispose of it themselves or outsource the disposal by March 31, 2027. Before disposal, it is necessary to confirm the presence or absence of PCB contamination. Our company offers measurement services based on the "Simple Measurement Method Manual for Trace PCBs in Insulating Oil (3rd Edition)" (Ministry of the Environment, May 2011). Additionally, we participate in cross-checking with the Japan Environmental Measurement and Analysis Association and are committed to precision management. [Features] ■ Providing high-precision and cost-effective PCB quantification methods ■ Offering services for the harmless treatment of low-concentration PCB waste ■ Participating in cross-checking with the Japan Environmental Measurement and Analysis Association *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

GS Yuasa Corporation Environmental Science Research Institute PCB Investigation and Trace PCB Analysis

For PCB investigation and trace PCB analysis, please leave it to GS Yuasa Environmental Science Research Institute.

Currently, PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls) are subject to strict management and storage obligations under the Waste Management Law. However, according to the "Special Measures Law for the Promotion of Proper Treatment of Polychlorinated Biphenyl Waste" enacted in 2001, it is mandatory for storage operators of low-concentration PCB waste to process it by March 31, 2027. Therefore, when replacing the insulating oil of transformers or capacitors manufactured before 1989 or when decommissioning such equipment, it is necessary to investigate whether the PCB content exceeds 0.5 mg/kg. Our company conducts trace PCB analysis tests in insulating oil to accurately meet our customers' needs.
